- 4 PREMIUM FILTERS: SED sediment filter reduces large particles to protect the other cartridges. CB carbon filter uses coconut shell solid block activated carbon to protect the RO membrane from chlorine and other chemicals. RO reverse osmosis membrane reduces particulates and impurities in water down to 0.0001 micron, including total dissolved solids (TDS), heavy metals, sodium chloride, copper, chromium, lead, and more. The last stage is a DI deionization filter for further reduction of TDS.
- DEIONIZATION FILTRATION: A fourth stage DI cartridge employs a mixed-bed, indicator resin for enhanced filtration of TDS (total dissolved solids). A 2:3 ratio of cation and anion resins assists in near complete reduction of ions from water including sodium, sulfate, copper, and more. Color-changing green media turns purple when exhausted, letting you know it’s time for a cartridge changeout. Deionization produces pure water faster, more efficiently, and more affordably than distillation.
- HIGH FLOW: Unlike other reverse osmosis sets, SpiroPure countertop RO filter replacement sets come with a high-flow 150 GPD membrane, the highest water flow rate that can be currently achieved at this RO membrane cartridge size.
- PRE-INSTALLED QC FITTINGS: All four replacement filters come with the quick-connect fittings pre-installed on the cartridges. Save time replacing your filter cartridges by simply disposing of the old filters and hooking up the tubing to these new high quality replacements!
